This Village Will Forever Sing Your Praise is a collection of themed poems from nine authors. It has ten themes, and each author contributes a poem for each theme. The themes are tailored to guide the poets in the desired direction while giving them the liberty to explore the topics however they see fit. The writers are all young Nigerians, though from different tribes and cultural settings. This shows in their poems, making the book a balanced portrayal of what it means to be young, to be Nigerian, and to be a writer.
