Joining us today is Nkasiobi Mbonu, a Nigerian poet, photographer, and author of “Seashells,” 2021 winning chapbook of the Pengician Poetry Chapbook Prize available on Poemify Bookstore. She talked about her poetry, photography, and her life as a creative.

About Our Guest
Nkasiobi Mbonu was born in 1994 in Owerri, Imo State. She is a poet and photographer currently based in Lagos, Nigeria. She studied Biochemistry at Babcock University, Nigeria. Writing, photography, editing are more than hobbies to her. She sees the world as millions of frames overlapping each other; most of which are in colors and lines. Her work has been published on ChannelsTV, Guardian LifeMag, Poetry Nation, the shallow tales review, and elsewhere. She is a semi-finalist for the 2020 Grapes Poetry Prize, first runner-up of the Pengician Poetry Chapbook Series 2021, Finalist of the 2020 Atlantis Award, and shortlisted for AWC2021: Stories That Touch.
